In Australia, air conditioners are not just mere decoration in one’s home. They are necessary to alleviating the sweltering heat that most Australian cities are faced with during the summer season.

Cooling a Single Room

There are three units that could be used in cooling a single room. Stick it to the wall and Portable type air conditioning units. With these types of air conditioning units, all of there components are enclosed in a single box.

1) The portable unit can be moved from room to room with ease.

2) The stick it to the wall unit  can be easily fitted into a slot made in the wall of a room, or often a window sill.

3) The outdoor unit and the indoor unit. The outdoor unit houses the compressor, condenser and expansion valve. The indoor unit consists of the evaporator and fan. This unit can also be used for a single room and because of its sleek look, adds an aesthetic quality that is not apparent in a window type.

Cooling multiple rooms

A ducted air conditioning unit also has two parts, similar to the split-type unit. However, this air conditioning system can cool several rooms and is easily controlled from one location. The indoor unit of a ducted air conditioner can be placed within the roof cavity of your home or under the flooring. Having ducted air conditioning allows you to hide it within your house’s framework, making it the most aesthetically pleasing of air conditioning units.

It pays to stay cool in the blistering heat during the summer season. In Australia, air conditioners come in all shapes and sizes that can fit your desired cooling needs.
